Dr Nasser Khan graduated from Dhaka Medical College in 1996. He was
awarded Gold Medal by Dhaka University for receiving highest mark in
medicine in final professional MBBS examination.
He completed his
residency in internal medicine at University of Chicago/Weiss Memorial
Hospital. He was selected to serve an additional year there as the Chief
Resident. He then moved on to complete Cardiology and Interventional
Cardiology fellowship from University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital
in Florida. He received the Outstanding Fellow Award from University of
Miami in 2007.
He is currently an Interventional Cardiologist
and the medical director of Structural Heart program at Methodist Dallas
Medical Center in Texas. He is actively involved in teaching medical
students and residents. He received ‘From the Heart Award’ by American
Heart Association in 2019 for his outstanding contribution in improving
quality and patient outcome.
